Author Guidelines

PEDOMAN BAGI PENULIS JURNAL GIZI DAN PANGAN (ID)

Jurnal Gizi dan Pangan (JGP) merupakan publikasi ilmiah bidang gizi dan pangan yang terkait aspek biokimia, gizi klinik, gizi masyarakat, pangan fungsional, dan sosial ekonomi serta regulasi dan informasi bidang gizi dan pangan. Artikel yang dimuat adalah hasil penelitian dan review (atas undangan) tentang gizi dan pangan yang belum pernah dimuat atau tidak dalam proses review/penerbitan pada jurnal ilmiah lainnya dan merupakan hasil karya sendiri bukan plagiat.

PETUNJUK UMUM

Artikel disusun dengan format sebagai berikut: Judul, Penulis dan lembaga serta alamat korespondensi, Abstrak, Kata Kunci, Pendahuluan (Latar Belakang dan Tujuan), Metode, Hasil dan Pembahasan, Kesimpulan, Ucapan Terima Kasih (jika diperlukan), dan Daftar Pustaka.
Artikel diketik menggunakan program MS-Word, huruf Times New Roman font 12, garis tepi kiri 4 cm, tepi kanan, atas dan bawah masing-masing 3 cm. Tebal naskah maksimum 15 halaman dengan spasi 1.5, tidak perlu ada lampiran. Naskah diberi nomor baris (line number) di margin kiri mulai dari judul sampai akhir daftar pustaka. Naskah dikirimkan berupa print out dan soft file dalam bahasa Indonesia atau bahasa Inggris. Foto-foto/ilustrasi dikirim dalam format JPEG. Desimal menggunakan tanda koma bukan titik; bilangan ribuan atau jutaan dipisahkan oleh tanda titik (Rp 25.500 atau $ 1.000); bilangan yang besar dapat digantikan dengan kata (2 juta untuk  2.000.000).

HALAMAN DEPAN

Judul. Judul artikel terdiri atas kata-kunci (variabel) yang penting dan menarik serta tidak harus sama dengan judul laporan/tugas akhir. Sebaiknya hindari penggunaan kata “studi”, “pengaruh”, “hubungan”, dan “analisis”. Ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia terdiri atas 10-15 kata. Harap menyertakan judul untuk kepala halaman (header) sebanyak 6-8 kata. Judul bahasa Indonesia ditulis dengan huruf kapital dan judul bahasa Inggris ditulis dengan huruf kecil dan ditulis italic.

Penulis. Berisikan nama lengkap penulis (tanpa gelar), lembaga/afiliasi disertai alamat lengkap dan kode pos, serta mencantumkan korespondensi dan surat elektronik (email) salah satu penulis.

Abstrak. Berisi uraian singkat tentang tujuan penelitian, metode, hasil, dan kesimpulan dalam satu paragraf. Abstrak dituliskan dalam bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia tidak lebih dari 300 kata dengan menggunakan satu spasi dan disertai kata kunci yang mencerminkan isi artikel. Kata kunci terdiri atas 3-5 kata dan diurutkan sesuai abjad.HALAMAN ISIPendahuluan. Terdiri atas latar belakang dan tujuan penelitian yang ditulis dalam alinea yang berbeda. Latar belakang merupakan rasional dilakukannya penelitian yang didukung dengan hasil penelitian terkini (state of the art) dari jurnal dalam dan luar negeri sebagai sumber acuan primer.

Metode. Terdiri atas subbab desain, tempat dan waktu; jumlah dan cara pengambilan subjek (survei) atau bahan dan alat (laboratorium); jenis dan cara pengumpulan data (survei) atau tahapan penelitian (laboratorium); dan pengolahan dan analisis data.

Hasil dan Pembahasan. Ditulis dalam satu bab yang sama. Hasil penelitian menyajikan berbagai karakteristik data subjek/sampel dan temuan utama penelitian, sedangkan pembahasan berisi diskusi yang menghubungkan dan membandingkan hasil penelitian dengan teori/konsep/temuan dari hasil penelitian  lain menggunakan acuan primer. Pembahasan harus bermakna tidak sekedar menarasikan hasil (tabel dan gambar), serta sebaiknya mengemukakan implikasi dari hasil penelitian.

Kesimpulan. Berisikan jawaban dari tujuan penelitian dan bukan merupakan ringkasan hasil. Saran bersifat opsional, berada dalam bab kesimpulan dan hanya dipisahkan oleh alinea. Saran dapat berupa implikasi terhadap program dan penelitian lanjutan yang perlu dilakukan sehubungan dengan temuan penelitian atau kesimpulan penulis.

Ucapan Terima Kasih (opsional). Berisikan ucapan terima kasih kepada pemberi dana atau sponsor, penyumbang bahan dan sarana penelitian. Nama dituliskan tanpa gelar.

DAFTAR PUSTAKA DAN SITASI

Daftar pustaka hanya memuat pustaka yang diacu di dalam artikel. Gunakan pustaka terbaru (paling lama 10 tahun terakhir), dengan rasio pustaka primer lebih dari 80%. Jumlah pustaka yang digunakan sebaiknya antara 10-20 rujukan dan paling sedikit satu diantaranya merujuk pada satu naskah yang sudah diterbitkan di Jurnal Gizi dan Pangan. Rujukan ditulis menggunakan sistem Harvard yang berisi nama-tahun disusun menurut urutan abjad nama penulis. Cantumkan nama penulis maksimal 10 orang, apabila lebih, tulis nama 10 penulis pertama, selanjutnya et al. Penulisan sitasi dalam artikel dibedakan antara penulisan di awal dan di akhir kalimat berturut-turut sebagai berikut, jika penulis satu orang Khomsan (2014) atau (Khomsan 2014); jika penulis dua orang Khomsan dan Sukandar (2010) atau (Khomsan & Sukandar 2010); jika penulis lebih dari dua orang Khomsan et al. (2013) atau (Khomsan et al. 2013). Penulisan daftar pustaka mengikuti petunjuk berikut ini:

TABEL - GAMBAR.

Urutan pemuatan tabel atau gambar sesuai dengan sitasi pada naskah. Jumlah maksimal tabel dan gambar adalah 8 buah. Ilustrasi gambar yang berupa foto disertakan dalam format JPEG dengan resolusi minimum 100 dpi atau file berukuran minimum 50 kb per gambar. Ilustrasi gambar yang berupa grafik harus disertai dengan data mentah (Ms Excel). Judul tabel dan gambar ditulis rata kiri, menggunakan huruf kecil kecuali huruf pertama pada awal judul, nama tempat dan waktu.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES (ENG)

Journal of Nutrition and Food is a scientific publication in the field of nutrition and food related to aspects of biochemistry, clinical nutrition, community nutrition, functional foods, and socio economy, including nutrition and food information and regulation. Published articles are original research articles and reviews (by invitation) about nutrition and food that haven’t been published or not under review process in other scientific journals and are the original work of the authors, not plagiarism.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

The manuscript is arranged with these chapters: Title, Writers, Institutions and correspondence address, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction (Background and Objectives), Methods, Result and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement (if necessary) and References.

The manuscript is typed using MS-Word, Times New Roman font 12, left margin 4 cm, right, top and bottom margin 3 cm. It should be maximum 15 pages with 1.5 spacing, appendices are unnecessary. Manuscript should be given line number at the left margin starting from the title until the end of references. Manuscript should be sent as print out and soft file in Indonesia or English language. Figures should be sent in JPEG format. Decimal should be written using comma not dot; thousand and million numbers should be written using dot (Rp 25.500 or $ 1.000); large number can be replaced with word (2 million for 2.000.000).

TITLE PAGE

Title. Manuscript title consists of important and interesting keywords (variables) and is not necessarily the same as the title of the research report/final project. Using words such as “influence”, “relationship”, and “analysis” should be avoided. The title should be written both in Indonesian and English, consists of 10-15 words. Running title (6-8 words) for header should be provided. Indonesian title should be written in uppercase and English title should be written in sentence case and italic.

Authors. Consists of full name of each authors (without academic title), institutions/affiliations with full address and postal code, including correspondence and electronic mail (email) one of the authors.

Abstract. Contains a brief description of the research objectives, methods, results, and policy implications in a single paragraph. Abstract should be written in English and Indonesian, not more than 300 words, with single spacing, includes keywords reflecting the content of the manuscript. Keywords consist of 3-5 words and should be alphabetized.

CONTENT PAGE

Introduction. Consists of background and research objectives that are written in different paragraph. Background should contained state of the art from domestic and foreign journals as primary references.

Methods. Consists of these subchapters: design, place and time; sampling (survey) or materials and tools (laboratory); data type and collection (survey) or research steps (laboratory); and data processing and analysis.

Result and Discussion. Should be written in one chapter. Result presents various characteristics data of subjects/samples and the main findings of the research while discussion contains argument that relates and compares the findings with theory/concept/findings from other researches. Discussion should be meaningful, not only narrate the results (tables and figures). Point out the implications of research findings using primary references.

Conclusion. Contain answers to the research objectives and is not a summary of the results. Recommendation (optional) should be written in this chapter in separate paragraph. Recommendations may be implications for programs and advanced research that needs to be done based on research findings or conclusions of the authors.

Acknowledgement (optional). Contains acknowledgments to donors or sponsors, contributors of materials and research facilities. The names should be written without academic title.

REFERENCES

Only includes the references cited in the manuscript. Use the newest reference (should be from the last 10 years), with the ratio of primary references 80%. Number of references should be 10-20 references, and at least one of them cited one article that has been published in Journal of Nutrition and Food. Reference style should be written according to Harvard system, containing name-year arrange in alphabetical order based on the author names. Maximal 10 author names should be written, if there are more than 10 authors, write the first ten authors followed with et al.

Citation in the text is differentiated between writing at the beginning or the end of a sentence, respectively e.g. if only one author Khomsan (2014) or (Khomsan 2014); if two authors Khomsan and Sukandar (2010) or (Khomsan & Sukandar 2010); if more than two authors Khomsan et al. (2013) or (Khomsan et al. 2013).

TABLES AND FIGURES

Tables or figure should be presented according to the citation in the text. The maximum number of tables and figures are 8 pieces. Illustrations in the form of photos should be included in JPEG format with a minimum resolution of 100 dpi or minimum file size of 50 kb per image. Illustrations in the form of a graph must be accompanied by raw data (MS Excel). Titles of tables and figures should be written in left alignment, use lowercase except the first letter at the beginning of the title, name of place and time.
