About the Journal
Jurnal Gizi dan Pangan (Indonesian Journal of Nutrition and Food) is the official publication of the Food and Nutrition Society of Indonesia (PERGIZI PANGAN Indonesia) in collaboration with the Department of Community Nutrition, IPB University, since 2006. To upgrade the visibility of its content and citations, the editorial team decided to establish an English version for all manuscripts published from 2018 to the present. This Journal is top-ranked in Indonesia, among other journals in nutrition and food.
Jurnal Gizi dan Pangan (Indonesian Journal of Nutrition and Food) is an open-access scientific journal that publishes original research, study protocols, systematic reviews, and case studies in human nutrition and food sciences, mainly in the context of developing and emerging countries, spanning the fields of nutritional biochemistry; nutrition care process in both clinical and community settings; functional, traditional, and novel foods; healthy diets; and sustainable food and nutrition.
Jurnal Gizi dan Pangan (Indonesian Journal of Nutrition and Food) has been accredited since May 11, 2023, by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (Decree Number 79/E/KPT/2023). It is also indexed in the Web of Science (WoS), Science and Technology Index (SINTA), EBSCO, Garuda, Asean Citation Index (ACI) and other scientific databases.
As for publication, the journal is published regularly three times a year (in March, July, and November), fully in English, with an active DOI number for each article.
