About the Journal

Welcome to Jurnal Lanskap Indonesia (JLI). We are a leading Landscape Architectural Journal in Indonesia. The JLI is a periodical scientific peer reviewed publication hosted by Department of Landscape Architecture, Faculty of Agriculture, IPB University collaborate with the Indonesian Society of Landscape Architects (IALI). The journal's aimed to enhance conceptual, scientific understanding and application in developing sustainable landscapes as a solution to landscape change. Various scientific disciplines and perspectives are needed to understand the landscape and harmonize the social and ecological values to ensure landscape sustainability. The articles with themes in Landscape Planning, Design, Management, and Landscape Plants; Planning and Development of urban and rural areas; Ecology and environment; Landscape ecological engineering; The history and culture of the landscape are welcome to submit to this journal. The JLI has also been accredited SINTA 2 by General Higher Education, Research and Tecnology with Decree No. 72/E/KPT/2024 valid from Vol. 15 No. 1  Year 2023 until Vol. 19 No. 2 Year 2027.

The Indonesian Landscape Journal (JLI) is a periodical scientific publication of Department  of Landscape Architecture, Faculty of Agriculture, IPB University and the Indonesian Institute of Landscape Architects (IALI) with the purpose for enhancing conceptual, scientific understanding and application to develop a sustainable landscape as a solution to landscape change. Various disciplines and perspectives are needed to understand the landscape and harmonize social and ecological values to ensure the sustainability of the landscape. This journal has been published from 2009 and online since 2010. One volume of publication consists of two numbers: the edition of April and October each year. The JLI has also been accredited SINTA 2 by General Higher Eduation, Research and Tecnology with Decree No. 72/E/KPT/2024 valid from Vol. 15 No. 1  Year 2023 until Vol. 19 No. 2 Year 2027.

 

We invite researchers, academics and practitioners in the field of Landscape Architecture and other fields related to the science and profession of Landscape Architecture to submit articles in the form of academic research, thought, and academic reports including the following themes:

 • Planning, design, management, and landscape plants

 • Planning and development of urban and rural areas

 • Ecology and the environment

 • Ecological landscape engineering

 • Landscape history and culture

 

Publication Fee

JLI charges the following author fees. Since issue Vol. 16 No. 2 (2024) OCTOBER, Article Publication Cost (APC) in Jurnal Lanskap Indonesia is IDR 1.500.000,- (one million five hundred thousand rupiah).

Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)
Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

Article Publication: IDR 1.500,000.00 (Indonesia Citizen) or USD 100 (Non-Indonesia Citizen)
If your paper is accepted for publication in JLI, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.
