Evaluasi dan Perancangan Ulang Taman Median Jalan Bawah Light Rail Transit (LRT) P-420 sampai P-445 di Kelurahan Demang Lebar Daun, Kecamatan Ilir Barat I, Kota Palembang, Sumatera Selatan

This study aims to design a median park under the road for light rail transportation (LRT) in Demang Lebar Daun Village, Ilir Barat I District, Palembang City. This research was conducted from August to December 2023. The design of this park has a function to beautify the city and provide comfort for road users. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, namely field observation and interviews with the research site manager, with the following stages: 1. Inventory, 2. Interviews, 3. Landscape visual assessment, 4. Analysis, 5. Concept synthesis, 6. Planning and design, 7. Early design, 8. Consultation, and 9. Final design. The applications used are: Sketchup 2023, Lumion 6, Canva Design, Garden Planner and Capcut. The results of the study show that based on the results of the evaluation/assessment of the visual quality of the landscape, it can be divided into Zone 1 (Landscape 1 - 5), Zone 2 (Landscape 10 - 21), Zone 3 (Landscape 7-9 and 22 - 25), and Zone 4 (Landscape 6). From these results, using the concept of Ecological Architecture, in accordance with the proportions, a Street Median Park Design was produced consisting of Zone 1 (narrow Median), Zone 2 (Median under LRT), Zone 3 (Wide Median) and Zone 4 (Intersection). This design is dominated by green open space, with design facilities in the form of hard elements and soft elements that focus on aesthetic functions and the provision of comfortable and environmentally friendly public facilities.
