This issue moves from policy to peatland. An international team examines how Indonesian wildlife trade governance addresses zoonotic disease risk from forest to marketplace. Field studies monitor post-fire vegetation succession on peatland in Bengkalis Island, estimate vegetation density, tree diversity and carbon stocks in an urban eduforest in Bekasi, and show how talas beneng agroforestry in community forests supports productivity. Two papers on visitor services cover nature-based tourism in Sultan Syarif Hasyim Grand Forest Park, Riau, and the role of stakeholder knowledge in designing interpretation services.
