This issue spans wildlife ecology, water quality and forest management in Indonesia and Malaysian Borneo. It examines how habitat heterogeneity shapes bird communities in the Misool Island Nature Reserve, how rainfall and ENSO cycles influenced the water quality of Jakarta's rivers in 2021–2023, and whether species-specific growth models support Sarawak's 25-year cutting cycle. Two ecotourism studies assess development strategies for the Blumbang Gede lake area in Blitar and the floristic and physical potential of Sidrap Nature Park, South Sulawesi.
