Media Konservasi is a scientific journal in the field of tropical forest conservation, environment, biodiversity and ecotourism. It is the pioneer journal in Indonesia to discuss conservation issues. The first issue is published in 1987. The Journal was published three times a year in April, August, and December. However, starting from Volume 29 (2024), Media Konservasi is now published every three months in January, May, and September.
Media Konservasi is committed to publish good quality scientific papers. The journal focuses on publications in the field of forest resource conservation, environment, biodiversity and ecotourism in the form of Regular paper, book review, Research Notes/Scientific note/Short Communications, Technical paper and Opinion.
Media Konservasi is accredited and indexed in Sinta (Sinta score = S2) by National Research & Innovation Agency of Indonesia.
Media Konservasi is hosted and managed by Department of Forest Resources Conservation and Ecotourism, Faculty of Forestry, IPB University and Indonesian Biologist Association (Perhimpunan Biologi Indonesia/PBI). View the agreement here.
