About the journal
Media Konservasi is Indonesia's pioneer scientific journal on tropical forest conservation, biodiversity, and ecotourism — first published in 1987. It is hosted and managed by the Department of Forest Resources Conservation and Ecotourism, Faculty of Forestry and Environment, IPB University, in partnership with the Indonesian Biologist Association (Perhimpunan Biologi Indonesia / PBI).
The journal focuses on publications in forest resource conservation, environment, biodiversity, and ecotourism. Starting from Volume 29 (2024), the publication schedule shifted to January, May, and September. Media Konservasi is accredited and indexed in Sinta (Sinta score = S2) by the National Research & Innovation Agency of Indonesia.
