Since October 24th, 2018 Jurnal Manajemen Hutan Tropika accredited PERINGKAT 1 from the Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening of Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education of Indonesian Republic No. 30/E/KPT/2018. Jurnal Manajemen Hutan Tropika is also indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) since Volume 23 Number 1 (2017).

Jurnal Manajemen Hutan Tropika is re-accredited by the Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI) through the Decree of Directorate General of Higher Education No. 36a/E/KPT/2016 with the value “A” which is valid until 2021. Jurnal Manajemen Hutan Tropika is indexed in Indonesian Science and Technology Index (Sinta) (Sinta S1 score).

Setelah sempat berakhir status akreditasi JMHT pada tahun 2007, kini JMHT kembali terakreditasi dari Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi (Dikti) melalui SK Dirjen Dikti No. 66b/DIKTI/Kep./2011.
