Jurnal Ilmu dan Teknologi Kelautan Tropis (JITKT) is a development of the E-Journal of Tropical Marine Science and Technology published since June 2009, starting December 2010 we published in print and electronic. This journal is a scientific journal in the field of tropical marine science and technology and published regularly twice a year by the Department of Marine Science and Technology, IPB University in collaboration with Indonesian Association of Oseanologist (Ikatan Sarjana Oseanologi Indonesia-ISOI) and Indonesian Coastal Management Expert Group (Himpunan Ahli Pengelolaan Pesisir Indonesia- HAPPI).

This journal nationally accredited by Indonesian Institute of Science (LIPI) and Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Indonesia) based on decision letter issued by Head of Indonesian Institute of Science (LIPI) No.: 742/2/2012 date 7 August 2012; No.: 818/E/2015 July 2015 and Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Indonesia) based on decision letter Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No.: 212/P/2014 date 3 July 2014.

All articles published in this journal are the results of scientific research in the field of marine science and technology and has never been published or in the process of submission in other scientific publications.
