Evaluasi terapi doxycicline kasus infeksi Haemobartonella felis pada kucing
Abstract
Haemobartonella felis merupakan endoparasit yang menyebabkan kerusakan sel darah merah dan dapat menurunkan status kesehatan hewan peliharaan khususnya kucing. Tulisan ini melapporkan hasil pengamatan pada kucing yang didiagnosa mengidap infeksi parasit darah Haemobartonella felis dengan terapi antibiotik doxycicline dosis 5 mg/kg BB 2 kali sehari selama 21 hari. Hasil pengobatan menunjukkan penurunan tampilan parasit darah pada pemeriksaan ulas darah pada hari ke-0 dibandingkan dengan hari ke-22. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa doxycicline menjadi salah satu pilihan pengobatan pada pasien dengan diagnosa Haemobartonella felis.Downloads
