The snapper (Lutjanus vitta) is the Lutjanidae family mostly living in corals. The fish is one of the main fishing targets in Jakarta Bay landed at fish auction of Tanjung Pasir, Tangerang Regency. This study aims to examine the growth pattern, maturity stages of gonad, and the size of the first maturity gonads (Lm) of the fish. The study was conducted in February 2022. The method used in the study was a survey method with a sampling technique, namely Purposive Random Sampling. The results found a total catch of 113 individuals consisting of 60 male and 53 females fish obtained. The growth pattern of the snapper is isometric. Gonad maturity stages of the fish were found mostly in premature and maturing gonads. The fish in Jakarta Bay waters had a size of 213.5 mm at first maturity, which it is better to catch the fish with longer length than the size of the first mature gonads.
