Article Processing Charge

Jurnal Teknologi Perikanan dan Kelautan (JTPK) accepts manuscripts in both English and Indonesian. Since the February 2025 issue, all accepted manuscripts have been published in English. The Article Processing Charges (APC) are as follows:
- Manuscripts submitted in English: IDR 1,500,000.
- Manuscripts submitted in Indonesian: authors may choose one of the following options after the manuscript has been accepted:
   - If the manuscript is translated by the author, the APC is IDR 1,500,000.
   - If the manuscript is translated by JTPK, the APC is IDR 1,900,000.
The APC must be paid by the authors upon acceptance of the manuscript. Accepted manuscripts will not be published until the APC has been paid. 

Revenue Sources

The primary source of revenue for Jurnal Teknologi Perikanan dan Kelautan (JTPK) is the Article Processing Charge (APC) paid by authors after their manuscripts have been accepted for publication. The APC is used to support the journal's publication process, including editorial management, peer-review administration, production, Crossref membership and DOI maintenance, online dissemination, and other publishing-related operational costs.

The payment of APCs does not influence the editorial evaluation or publication decision of any manuscript. All submissions undergo an independent double-blind peer-review process, and editorial decisions are based solely on the scientific quality, originality, relevance to the journal's scope, and compliance with publication ethics.
