Abstract

This study aims to investigate the association between maternal knowledge and nutritional status with anemia in pregnancy at the Johar Baru Health Center, Central Jakarta. The research employs a descriptive analytical approach with a cross-sectional design. The study population comprised 65 individuals selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate methods, with the chi-square test applied for statistical inference. The findings revealed a significant relationship between anemia in pregnancy and maternal knowledge (p<0.01) and nutritional status (p<0.05). The study concludes that maternal knowledge and nutritional status are significantly associated with the incidence of anemia in pregnancy at the Johar Baru District Health Center, Central Jakarta in 2023.
