Open Access Policy

Jurnal Ilmu Gizi dan Dietetik provides immediate open access to its published articles to support the exchange of knowledge in nutritional sciences and dietetics.

1. Free Access

All published articles are freely available on the journal website immediately upon publication, without an embargo period.

Readers do not need to pay a subscription or access fee, or register an account, to read and download published articles.

2. License and Reuse

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Users may read, download, copy, redistribute, print, search, link to, adapt, and build upon the articles in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, subject to the license terms.

Users must:

  • Give appropriate credit to the authors and the original publication.

  • Provide a link to the license.

  • Indicate whether changes have been made.

  • Avoid implying endorsement by the authors or the journal.

No additional permission is required for uses permitted by the license. Third-party material identified as excluded from the article’s license may require separate permission from its copyright holder.

3. Copyright and Sharing

Authors retain copyright to their articles and grant the journal a non-exclusive right to publish and distribute their work.

Authors may share the published version on personal websites, institutional repositories, and other scholarly platforms. The original publication should be acknowledged, with the article’s DOI or official journal URL included.

For previously published articles, users should consult the license statement accompanying the individual article.

4. Publication Charges

Free reader access is separate from any article processing charge payable by authors.

Information about publication charges is provided on the journal’s Article Processing Charge page. Payment does not guarantee acceptance or determine editorial decisions.

5. Confidentiality

Open access applies to published content. Unpublished manuscripts, reviewer reports, personal information, and confidential editorial correspondence are not made public under this policy.
