Penutupan luka kulit di area femur dengan rotation flaps pada kucing lokal
Abstract
Rumah Sakit Hewan Pendidikan Prof. Noerjanto Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan Universitas Syiah Kuala menerima pasien seekor kucing lokal jantan, berusia 3.5 tahun, berat badan 3 kg dengan keluhan pemilik adanya luka dengan diameter yang semakin membesar di area femur. Pemeriksaan menunjukkan kondisi fisik baik, ditemukan luka berdiameter ± 4-5 cm area femur. Pemeriksaan hematologi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan jumlah sel darah putih mencapai 26 x 103 mL. Penanganan luka kulit dilakukan menggunakan teknik retraksi kulit yang berasal dari sekeliling luka dengan metode rotation flaps. Penjahitan luka metode rotation flaps menggunakan benang bedah Silk 3/0 USP dengan tipe jahitan simple interrupted dan vertical mattras pattern. Kedua tepi luka sudah mulai bertemu setelah 12 hari tindakan bedah dan rotation flap sembuh total disertai dengan pertumbuhan rambut setelah hari ke-20. Rotation flap merupakan teknik bedah yang dapat diterapkan untuk penutupan luka pada kulit dengan diameter besar pada tubuh hewan.Downloads
