Vaginal Leiomyoma pada Anjing Betina 8 Tahun
Abstract
Vaginal leiomyoma adalah tumor benign yang berasal dari sel-sel otot halus (smooth muscle tumor) yang terdapat pada vagina. Anjing betina berusia 8 tahun datang ke My Vets Animal Clinic di Kemang Selatan dengan keluhan ada benjolan di antara anus dan vagina, dan anjing tidak bisa urinasi maupun defekasi dengan lancar. Tindakan bedah berupa episiotomi dan ovariohisterektomi dipilih untuk menangani vaginal leiomyoma tersebut. Tumor bersifat benign yang berada pada vulva-vagina memiliki respon yang bagus terhadap tindakan bedah berupa pengangkatan lokal (local excision) dan ovariohisterektomi. Vaginal leiomyoma pada anjing memiliki prognosa yang bagus jika berhasil didiagnosa dan dilakukan tindakan bedah berupa episiotomi dan ovariohisterektomi.Downloads
