Owls are classified as a nocturnal bird of prey and are currently as pets in Indonesia. Unfortunately, disease and treatment information for owls is limited, therefore, infected owls were treated with antibiotics as the prime drug treatment. Moreover, with Indonesia's frail antibiotic use supervision, antibiotics are accessed easily causing antibiotic resistance problems. This study aimed to provide the sensitivity information on Coagulase Negative Staphylococcus (CoNS) bacteria from the cloacal swabs of a Javan Owlet and two Buffy Fish Owl with five antibiotics types from the owl captivity in Depok. A Kirby Bauer test was used to identify antibiotic resistance from the cloacal swab samples. Although the results showed that CoNS bacteria from cloacal swabs of a Javan Owlet and a Buffy Fish Owl were resistant to erythromycin, both of these isolates remained sensitive to gentamicin, ciprofloxacin, doxycycline, and tetracycline. The third isolate from a Buffy Fish Owl tested and remained sensitive to all five antibiotics.
