Abstract

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) merupakan pengalaman masa kanak-kanak yang dapat memengaruhi perkembangan psikologis remaja hingga berdampak pada pembentukan harga diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara konsep diri personal dan harga diri pada remaja yang memiliki pengalaman ACEs serta menguji peran koping religius sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain potong lintang (cross-sectional) yang melibatkan 580 remaja di Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan World Health Organization Adverse Childhood Experiences International Questionnaire (WHO ACE-IQ), Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), Personal Self-Concept (PSC), dan Brief Religious Coping Scale (Brief RCOPE). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product-Moment dan analisis mediasi dengan bantuan Jeffrey’s Amazing Statistics Program (JASP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri personal berkorelasi positif secara signifikan dengan harga diri. Selain itu, koping religius positif terbukti memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara konsep diri personal dan harga diri, sedangkan koping religius negatif tidak menunjukkan efek mediasi yang signifikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penguatan konsep diri personal serta pengembangan koping religius yang adaptif berpotensi mendukung peningkatan kesejahteraan psikologis remaja yang memiliki pengalaman ACEs.
