Hypertension is one of the main causes of mortality and morbidity, so it needs proper management. Pharmacological management in the long run may have side effects, so it is necessary to consider nonpharmacological management by consuming foods high in minerals such as potassium and calcium, and vitamin C and lycopene found in red dragon fruit, starfruit, and tomatoes. This study aims to determine the effect of a combination of red dragon fruit, starfruit, and tomato juice on systolic and diastolic blood pressure in hypertension patients in the Gondangrejo Public Health Center, Karanganyar. The type of research is quasi-experimental with a pretest posttest with control group design. The number of samples was 39 people, consisting of 18 in the intervention group and 21 in the control group, obtained using purposive sampling. The intervention group was given 200 ml of juice once a day for 14 days. In the control group, the systolic blood pressure decreased by 9.67±10.21 mmHg and the diastolic blood pressure by 4.52±7.37 mmHg, whereas in the intervention group, the systolic blood pressure reduction was 16.39±8.48 mmHg and the diastolic blood pressure reduction was 8.61±6.54 mmHg. Repeated Measures ANOVA test results show that there is an effect of the combination of red dragon fruit, starfruit, and tomato juice on systolic and diastolic blood pressure in hypertension patients (p=0.000). The independent t-test results show that at H0 and H7 there is no significant difference in systolic and diastolic blood pressure between the control and intervention groups (p≥0.088). However, at H14 there is a significant difference in systolic and diastolic blood pressure between the control and intervention groups (p≤0.043). The study concludes that the combination of red dragon fruit, starfruit, and tomato juice has an effect on blood pressure in hypertension patients in the Gondangrejo region, Karanganyar, and may be considered as a complementary intervention alongside antihypertensive therapy. Further research is recommended to examine respondents' sodium intake as a covariate.
