Journal of Vocational in Aquaculture (JAVA) is committed to the long-term digital preservation, archiving, and continuous accessibility of all published scholarly articles. To protect research outputs from data loss and ensure permanent open access, JAVA employs a multi-tiered archiving strategy:

  1. PKP Preservation Network (PKP-PN): JAVA utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP-PN) to create a decentralized, distributed archiving system using the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) architecture. This guarantees that published content remains digitally preserved and accessible worldwide even in the event of platform or server failure.

  2. Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital): All articles published in JAVA are indexed, archived, and digitally preserved in the national database Garuda (Kemdiktisaintek), ensuring high visibility, metadata harvesting, and long-term storage within the Indonesian academic repository network.

  3. National Library of Indonesia & Indonesia OneSearch (IOS): JAVA is indexed and archived by Indonesia OneSearch (IOS), a national repository aggregator powered by the National Library of Indonesia (Perpustakaan Nasional RI). You can view the repository archive details at Indonesia OneSearch Repository (Library ID: 9122).

  4. Author Self-Archiving (Repository Deposit): Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their articles (Submitted Version, Accepted Version, or Published PDF) in personal, institutional, or disciplinary repositories (e.g., IPB Scientific Repository, ResearchGate, Zenodo) immediately after publication, provided full bibliographic attribution and a link to the original DOI are included.
