JAVA does not permit artificial intelligence (AI) tools or technologies to be listed as authors. When AI tools are employed in the conduct of research or in the preparation of a manuscript, their use must be disclosed transparently. Such disclosure should be included in the Methods section, or in the Acknowledgements for article types without a Methods section, and the manuscript must clearly specify which parts of the content were influenced by AI.
