Sustainability in Action: From Coastal Ecosystems to Urban Resilience

This issue brings together diverse studies addressing sustainability challenges across coastal, urban, and rural landscapes in Southeast Asia. The articles explore ecosystem-based management through mangrove carbon assessment in Subang, sustainable geopark development in the Gunung Sewu region, and household climate resilience in DKI Jakarta. Water quality and health risks are examined in the Kapuas River, while agricultural sustainability is evaluated through life cycle assessment of coffee systems in Pagar Alam. Infrastructure and environmental planning are further discussed via green road initiatives in Sragen Regency and emission inventories in Vietnamese port areas. Finally, tourism sustainability is assessed through carrying capacity analysis in Tabanan Regency. Collectively, these contributions highlight integrative approaches to environmental management, policy development, and sustainability assessment in rapidly changing socio-ecological systems.
