Avian Influenza (AI) and Newcastle Disease (ND) are two poultry diseases that have high mortality rates. Both of these diseases have become endemic in Indonesia, but not all areas in Indonesia have these two diseases due to the remote area and low livestock traffic in that area. North Lore Subdistrict, Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi is an area that is quite remote and difficult to reach by transportation, so that the traffic of poultry from outside the area is quite low. The incidence of the two diseases in the North Lore District has never been reported before. The results showed that the seroprevalence of AI was only 4.4% in native chickens, while ND was endemic in the area with a seroprevalence of 55.6%.
