Snakehead (Channa striata) is a carnivorous fish widely caught because of its savory meat taste. The existence of the snakehead in Indonesia is widely spread, but threats that continuously run over the snakehead juveniles might make them end up in extinction. It’s become important to analyze the relationship between Target Strength (TS), and total length of snakehead juveniles using SIMRAD EK15 echosounder for resource management, as well as evaluating the health of the fish populations. The study was conducted using 15 individuals with a body length ranged 10-15 cm, and the average TS value ranged from -46.80 dB to -45.01 dB. The relationship between the total length of snakehead fish and the value of the target strength has a strong relationship (r-value of 0,8531 and a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0,7279), with the equation TS= 64,439ln(L) -215,66.
