IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

To improve our editorial workflow and user experience, Jurnal Teknologi Perikanan dan Kelautan (JTPK) has been using two separate systems since July 1, 2026. Please read the following information carefully.

1. Submission and Review Platform (New System)

All new manuscripts must be submitted through our dedicated submission portal. This is a separate system, so authors are required to register a new account on this platform before submitting their manuscripts. Accounts registered on the main journal website cannot be used to access the new submission portal.

2. Publication Platform (Main Website)

Accepted manuscripts will continue to be officially published on the main journal website. All published articles remain accessible through the journal's archives and continue to be associated with the journal's existing indexing services.

Manuscripts Submitted Before July 1, 2026

The handling of manuscripts submitted before the system migration depends on their stage in the publication process:

  • Submission stage: Manuscripts that had not yet entered the review process were declined due to the system migration. Authors are encouraged to register a new account on the new submission portal and resubmit their manuscripts.

  • Review, copyediting, and production stages: Manuscripts that had already reached these stages will continue to be processed through the main journal website until publication. However, further processing in the existing system can only be carried out by the journal administrator. Authors should communicate with the Editorial Office via email (jurnalfpik.ipb@gmail.com/ jurnalfpikipb@apps.ipb.ac.id) to continue the process and receive further instructions.


The New System is used for manuscript submission, peer review, revision, copyediting, and layout, while the Main Website is used for publishing and indexing final articles and providing access to the journal's archives. Please note that each system has its own user accounts. Authors must register a new account on the Submission System before submitting a manuscript.
