Announcement on the Accreditation Status of Marine Fisheries Journal (MarFish)
Dear Authors, Prospective Authors, and Reviewers,
We appreciate your continued interest and engagement with the Marine Fisheries Journal. In response to the numerous inquiries regarding the journal’s current accreditation status, we would like to provide the following official information:
The Marine Fisheries Journal has submitted an application for re-accreditation to the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology. As of the date of this announcement, the new accreditation decision has not yet been formally issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.
Referring to the official letter from the Directorate of Research, Technology, and Community Service (DRTPM), Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (No. 1469/E5/DT.05.00/2024, dated 20 November 2024), it is stated that:
“Until a new accreditation decision is finalized, journals undergoing the re-accreditation process will maintain their previous accreditation status.”
Based on the latest Decree (No. 200/M/KPT/2020), the Marine Fisheries Journal holds an accreditation status of SINTA 2. Consequently, all current and forthcoming issues of the journal will remain under this accreditation category until the new decision is officially published.
