MARINE FISHERIES: Journal of Marine Fisheries Technology and Management is a scientific journal in the field of marine fisheries technology and management. The journal publishes original research articles and reviews covering fishing gear, fishing technologies, fishing vessels and transportation, fisheries port policies and management, as well as marine fisheries systems. This journal has been accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia since 2015, and is currently accredited as SINTA 3 for the 2023–2027 period (SK No. 156/C/C3/KPT/2026). The journal is organized by the Capture Fisheries Consortium Partnership Forum in Indonesia (FK2PT) and the Department of Fisheries Resource Utilization, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, IPB University. Starting with the 2026 issue, the journal is published three times a year, in March, July, and November. The journal accepts manuscripts submitted in either English or Bahasa Indonesia; however, all accepted articles are published in English.

Since establishment, Marine Fisheries has been published in Bahasa Indonesia. On April 7th, 2026, Marine Fisheries has been accredited by No SK: 156/C/C3/KPT/2026 as one of reputable journals for marine field in Indonesia, specifically capture fisheries technology and management. We express our gratitude to the authors, reviewers, editorial boards and related parties for their support and cooperation. As part of our continuous commitment to improving publication quality and expanding our international reach, Marine Fisheries has adopted English as its official language of publication since January 2024. The journal accepts manuscripts submitted in either English or Bahasa Indonesia; however, all accepted articles are published in English.
To facilitate this transition, the editorial team offers translation assistance for authors who submit their manuscripts in Bahasa Indonesia, subject to an additional fee.
