The sample was calculated using the Notoatmodjo 2005 formula, the results of 322 students were divided into 2 groups, namely 163 students in the intervention group and 159 students in the control group. The data obtained were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney tests. The results of knowledge and attitude increased after being given video media by 49% and 28% respectively. This result is proven through using a parametric test (Independent T-test) obtained a value of p-value=0.000 (p<0.05) it’s mean there is a significant influence. There is an increase in adolescents' knowledge and attitudes regarding balanced nutrition in adolescents after being given nutrition counseling with video media.
