Batu kandung kemih pada iguana hijau (Iguana iguana)
Abstract
Seekor iguana hijau (Iguana iguana) betina berumur 8 bulan dengan berat badan 470 g. Pemilik mengeluhkan adanya massa yang besar dan keras di dalam abdomen sejak kecil dan membesar seiring bertambahnya usia. Tidak terdapat perubahan pada pola tingkah laku, nafsu makan, defekasi serta sekresi cairan urin dan urat pada iguana selama pemeliharaan. Pemeriksaan fisik dan pemeriksaan penunjang diagnosa radiologi (radiografi dan ultrasonografi) dilakukan. Hasil pemeriksaan radiografi terlihat adanya massa radiopaque berbentuk bulat di organ vesika urinaria. Berdasarkan hasil USG terlihat adanya massa hiperekhoik dengan bayangan akustik pada vesika urinaria. Berdasarkan hasil diagnosa penunjang di atas, iguana di diagnosa mengalami urolithiasis atau batu kandung kemih (bladder stone) dengan prognosa fausta. Iguana diterapi dengan pembedahan cystotomy untuk mengambil bladder stone. Lima hari pasca-cystotomy nafsu makan iguana sudah membaik, defekasi serta sekresi urin dan urat terpantau normal.
