Placemaking is one of the effective ways to utilize the potential of local communities. Placemaking creates public spaces that care about the welfare of the community, so it needs to be studied from the context of ecotourism. Ecotourism focuses on the functions of conservation, education, local community involvement, economy and tourism. This study formulates a placemaking strategy in an ecotourism park seen from a case study of the Boonpring Ecotourism Park. Data were collected through field observations, by observing the activities and conditions of the landscape space. The results of the study show that ecotourism parks need to provide easy access in all places. Parks must strive for comfort and an active atmosphere with ecotourism activities carried out with the participation of local communities. The spaces created support joint activities and can foster social interaction within the landscapes.
