Urbanization and rapid population growth have reduced agricultural land, impacting food security and environmental sustainability. This study aims to identify the agricultural landscapes in six districts of Bogor City and the landscapes surrounding farmer groups' gardens, analyze environmentally friendly urban agriculture practices and their benefits, and provide recommendations for the development of urban agriculture. Data were collected from 40 farmer groups through surveys, interviews, and questionnaires, supplemented by land cover analysis using processed Sentinel-2 image data. The results showed that the South Bogor sub-district has the largest proportion of agricultural land (10,70%), while the Central Bogor sub-district has the smallest proportion (0,04%). The landscape around farmer groups' farms in central Bogor is dominated by built-up areas, while in the peripheral it is more diverse. Most farmer groups have adopted environmentally friendly farming systems, utilizing organic and inorganic waste as agricultural inputs and using technologies such as hydroponics and aquaponics to maximize yields on limited land. However, the application of such technologies faces challenges related to cost and technical knowledge. Urban landscape agriculture provides benefits in improving the aesthetics of the cityscape, encouraging social interaction, and improving food access. The development of urban landscape agriculture is directed at preserving existing agricultural land, developing productive green open spaces, utilizing vacant land, and using simple technology and selecting commodities that are suitable for the environmental and social conditions of the community.
