Acta VETERINARIA Indonesiana (Acta Vet Indones.) also known as The Indonesian Veterinary Journal, is an open-access, peer-reviewed, online journal dedicated to the advancement of veterinary and life sciences. To ensure high scientific relevance and novelty, the journal exclusively publishes original manuscripts derived from research conducted within the last five years. Published entirely in English, the journal accepts a range of article formats, including original research papers, comprehensive reviews, clinical case studies, and short communications. Acta VETERINARIA Indonesiana is published  by the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, IPB University, in prestigious collaboration with the Indonesian Veterinary Medical Association (PDHI). This journal is published since 2013, Starting in 2021, the journal adopted a triannual publication schedule, publishing three issues each year in March, July, and November. Acta Veterinaria Indonesiana

In order to enhance the quality of the journal publication, provide greater convenience for authors, and support the process toward reputable international indexation, at the beginning of 2026 Acta Veterinaria Indonesiana has implemented improvements to its website appearance and journal management system.

In this regard, we would like to inform the following:

1. Language and Manuscript Template
All submitted manuscripts must be written in English and prepared in accordance with the new writing style and official template provided by the journal. Detailed instructions can be found in the Author Guidelines section on the journal website.

2. Article Processing Charge (APC)
To support improvements in journal management and the advancement of international indexation, the Article Processing Charge (APC) for each accepted manuscript is IDR 1,000,000 per article.

3. Publication Schedule and Submission Process
The publication schedule remains three issues per year, published in March, July, and November.
Authors may submit manuscripts throughout the year via the official website of Acta Veterinaria Indonesiana. Authors who do not yet have an account are required to register first on the journal website, after which they may log in and proceed with manuscript submission.

We hope that these improvements will further enhance the quality of scientific publications and the services provided to our authors and readers.
