Generative AI Policy

Authors who use generative artificial intelligence (AI) or AI-assisted technologies in preparing a manuscript must disclose their use in a section entitled “Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use Statement”, placed immediately before the References section. The statement must specify the name of the AI tool and explain how it was used.

  • Permitted Uses: AI tools may be used to assist with language editing, improve readability, organize ideas, and enhance manuscript presentation. Authors must carefully review and verify all AI-assisted content before submission.
  • Prohibited Uses: AI tools must not be used to generate, modify, fabricate, or manipulate research data; replace the authors’ scientific analysis, critical judgment, or interpretation of results; or generate citations and references that have not been verified against the original sources.
  • Authorship and Responsibility: AI tools cannot be listed or cited as authors or co-authors. Human authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical compliance of all submitted content, including any content produced with AI assistance.
