Information For Authors

Journal of Indonesian Agribusiness is a periodical scientific journals of agribusiness in Indonesia. This journal is media of information dissemination which is the thinking results and research of lecturers, researchers and practitioners who are interested in agribusiness development. This journal is expected to help the agribusiness practitioners, policy makers, lecturer, students, and other people to get better understanding of the situation and condition of Indonesian agribusiness. Especially, benefit for the Indonesian agribusiness development and generally for improving the welfare of the Indonesian people. This journal is published twice a year (June and December Edition) by the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Economics and Management, Institut Pertanian Bogor.

This journal has been accredited by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Republic of Indonesia with Sinta 2 since the year 2023 to 2027 according to decree No. 177/E/KPT/2024.

How To Register

  1. Author should register through the following address:  http://journal.ipb.ac.id/index.php/jagbi/user/register
  2. Author should fulfill the form On the Confirmation Register section, please give your selection as author, reviewer, or both of them. After all the form was filled, click on "Register" to process the registration.
  3. Go to User Home and select your role as Author. Click on "Click here: to go to step one of the five-step submission process" in Active Submission.
  4. These are the five-step submission process:
  • Step 1. Starting the Submission On the Journal Section, select the appropriate section of journal, i.e. Articles. Author has to check-mark on the submission checklists. Please click on the "Save and continue" button to go to the further step.
  • Step 2. Entering the Submission's Metadata.
    Author should enter metadata of all authors engaged in the writing process. The information of manuscript title, abstract, and keywords must be filled in the textbox.
  • Step 3. Uploading the Submission
    Author should click Browse to find the manuscript file on the hard drive. Choose the file and click Upload button. Once the submission is uploaded, click Save and Continue on the bottom of this page.
  • Step 4. Uploading Supplementary Files
    The supplementary file should be uploaded is Form Pernyataan, consisting of Statement of Originality and Copyright Release Form. Therefore, click on Browse button, choose the file, click on Upload button, and click on Save and Continue.
  • Step 5. Confirming the Submission
    Author has to check that all documents are complete. To submit the manuscript to JURNAL AGRIBISNIS INDONESIA, click Finish Submission button. The corresponding author or the principal contact will receive an acknowledgement by email. Author will and will be able to view the submission's progress through the editorial process by logging in to the journal web address site.

Duties of Authors

Reporting standards
Authors of reports of original research should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data should be represented accurately in the paper. A paper should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.

Originality and Plagiarism
The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others that this has been appropriately cited or quoted.

Multiple, Redundant or Concurrent Publication
An author should not in general publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behaviour and is unacceptable.

Acknowledgement of Sources
Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given. Authors should cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work.

Authorship of the Paper
Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as contributors.

The corresponding author should ensure that all appropriate co-authors and no inappropriate co-authors are included on the paper, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed.

Fundamental errors in published works
When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work, it is the author’s obligation to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.
