Aim

The Journal of Agroindustrial Technology (Jurnal Teknologi Industri Pertanian) publishes high-quality research that advances innovation, value addition, and sustainability in agroindustrial systems. The journal promotes interdisciplinary approaches integrating engineering, management, and emerging technologies to enhance the efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainable agroindustry, particularly in agricultural and bio-based product processing.

Scope

The journal particularly encourages research and studies that contribute to improving value addition, operational efficiency, and sustainability of agroindustrial systems.

The journal welcomes original research articles related to agroindustrial and agribusiness systems, including but not limited to:

  • Industrial engineering and management (agroindustrial system modelling and optimization, supply chain and logistics in agroindustry, production planning and inventory management, decision support systems and optimization methods, digital transformation and smart agroindustry, artificial intelligence and data analytics in agroindustry, techno-economic and sustainability assessment)
  • Process and bio-process engineering and technology (process and product development, post-harvest and processing technology, quality control and food safety management, innovation and new product development in agroindustry)
  • Environmental engineering and management (circular economy and waste valorization, sustainable agroindustrial systems and resource efficiency
