Pengembangan Media Edukasi Mia-Card serta Dampaknya terhadap Pengetahuan dan Sikap terkait Anemia pada Remaja Putri The Development of Mia-card Education Media and Its Impact on Knowledge and Attitudes Related to Anemia in Adolescent Girls
Abstract
This study aims to develop the Mia-card through Focus Group Discussion (FGD), analyze its impact on knowledge and attitudes, and evaluate its level of acceptance. The research design utilizes FGD and a quasy-experimental study with a pre-test and post-test control group. The study was conducted from May to June 2024 at SMPN 3 Jakarta and SMPN 33 Jakarta. The intervention involved 48 eighth-grade female students, divided into a control group (leaflet) and an intervention group (Mia-card). The FGD produced a Mia-card model tailored to the characteristics of the subjects. The results indicated significant differences in knowledge and attitudes before and after the intervention in both groups, as well as between the control and intervention groups before and after the intervention (p<0.05). A significant relationship was found between knowledge and attitudes after the intervention in the control group (p<0.05). However, no significant relationship was observed before the intervention in either group or after the intervention in the intervention group (p>0.05). The majority of participants in the intervention group expressed high satisfaction with the Mia-card (54.2%). Overall, the Mia-card was more effective in improving knowledge compared to the leaflet.
