Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

  1. If the manuscript is written in Indonesian or English, then the title is written in Indonesian and English, while if the manuscript is written in English, the title is written only in English. Manuscripts written in Indonesian need to pay attention to good and correct Indonesian rules, in accordance with Enhanced Spelling (EYD). If the manuscript is written in English, the writing must be in accordance with scientific usage standards.
  2. The manuscript is prepared in Microsoft Word format, except for graphs/diagrams/tables using Microsoft Excel format and images using JPEG or PDF format.
  3. The submitted manuscript must be completed with pages and line numbers.
  4. The manuscript is written in Candara font size 11, typed with a space of 1, right-left-margin of 1,95 cm each, and top-bottom-margin of 2,54 cm each, written on A4 paper. The length of the manuscript is 10-15 pages.
  5. The manuscript consists of the title, author's name, institution/affiliation, abstract, introduction, method, results and discussion, conclusion, references, acknowledgments (if any), and attachments (if any).
  6. Each beginning of the paragraph and formulas indent 1 cm from the left edge. Especially for formulas/formulas written with size 10 and annotated.
  7. Chapter writing (heading) uses capital letters size 12, while Sub Chapter (subheading) and sub subchapter (sub of subheading) use capital letters at the beginning of the word (Capitalize Each Word) size 11. Chapters and Subchapters are bolded and left-aligned. Chapter Spacing with Subchapter 1.5 spaces. Sub Chapter Spacing with 1 space sentence. The writing system follows the following rules:

  1. The format of writing footnotes follows the technical rules of scientific writing with Cambria font size 9 and clearly states the source of reference using the footnote system (footnote).

WRITING DETAILS ABOUT THE MANUSCRIPT

  1. Title; Titles are bolded with capital letters at the beginning of each word, except conjunctions. Titles can be up to 14 words (excluding conjunctions). Manuscripts in Indonesian must be accompanied by English titles that are italicized and boldThe title is typed in Candara font size 14.
  2. Author's Name; The author's name is written in full without a title, given a superscriptin the order of the first, second, and so on, using capital letters at the beginning of the word (Capitalize Each Word), written in the left of the page, and using Candara font size 12. The name and address of the institution are written in full, using capital letters at the beginning of the word (Capitalize Each Word) written at the left of the page, and using Candara font size 11. The email address of each author is italicized using Candara font size 11.
  3. Abstract; Abstract must be written in Indonesian and English, using Candara font size 10, space 1, writing length 150-250 words, written in one paragraph format. The abstract must contain at least an introduction, objectives, research methods, results discussion, and conclusions. The editor has the right to edit the abstract on the grounds of clarity.
  4. Keywords; Keywords are 3-5 words in italics and sorted alphabetically.
  5. Introduction; Consists of background and research objectives written in different paragraphs. The background is the rationale for conducting research supported by the latest research results (state of the art) from domestic and foreign journals as primary reference sources.
  6. Methods; Consists of the location and time of research, types and sources of data, sampling methods, data processing, and analysis methods.
  7. Results and Discussion; Written in the same chapter. The results of the study present various characteristics of subject/sample data and the main findings of the study, while the discussion contains discussions that connect and compare research results with theories/concepts/findings from other research results using primary references. The discussion should be meaningful not just narrating the results (tables and figures), and should present the implications of the research results
  8. Conclusion; Contains answers to the objectives of the researcher and is not a summary of research results. The conclusion should be written briefly in one paragraph, but reflect the results of the research conducted.
  9. Acknowledgments (optional); Contains thanks to funders or sponsors, donors of research materials and facilities. The name is written without the title.
  10. References The bibliography contains only the libraries referenced in the article. Minimum 20 references with quality references, namely 80% primary sources or originating from reputable journals for the last 10 years. Written in accordance with the style issued by APA (American Psychological Association). The referenced bibliography must be arranged alphabetically. To avoid errors in writing the bibliography format, we recommend using the application references such as Mendeley.
  11. Appendix are allowed (if any). Contains relevant information and substance of writing, and at most 3 pages.

TABLES AND FIGURES

Table

  1. The table must be clear (provide complete and understandable information without reference to the body of the manuscript). All tables should be cited in text and do not duplicate data already given text or numbers.
  2. Table headings should be short and clear. Only the initial word is capitalized, typed above the table, and numbered using Arabic numbers.
  3. The title and contents of the table are written using Candara font size 10. If there is information and sources used in the table are written below with a font size of 10.

Figure

  1. The title should be short and clear, located below the Image or Graphic. The initial word is capitalized and numbered with numbers
  2. The title and content of images and graphics are written using Candara font size 10. If there are captions and sources used in pictures and graphs written below with font size 10.
  3. The formats for images are JPEG and PDF.
