Target reef fish possess significant economic value as food and ornamental sources, yet they are highly vulnerable to anthropogenic pressures and overfishing. Pramuka Island, serving as the administrative center and a primary marine tourism destination in the Seribu Islands National Park, plays a critical role in the sustainability of marine resources. This study aims to analyze the family composition, abundance, and biomass of target reef fish in the waters surrounding Pramuka Island. Observations were conducted using the Underwater Visual Census (UVC) method at six observation stations across two depth levels. The results revealed a total abundance of 1,711 individuals, heavily dominated by the families Pomacentridae (72,88%) and Caesionidae (15,78%). The highest abundance was recorded at the SPG station (73,17 ind/100m²), whereas the lowest was found at the BPR station (23,83 ind/100m²), which is characterized by high anthropogenic activity. The highest biomass value was observed at the BSK station, reaching 1600,29 gram/100m². Size structure analysis of the dominant species, Caesio cuning, indicated that the individuals found were below the Length at First Maturity (Lm), categorizing the stock as not yet catchable. These findings highlight the urgent need for appropriate fishery management strategies to prevent growth overfishing and ensure stock sustainability.
