Soil arthropods are a group of fauna that live in the soil and play a role in influencing the rate of soil formation, mineralization and nutrient cycles in the ecosystem. This research aims to identify the diversity of soil arthropods found in the Core Zone of Mount Halimun Salak National Park (TNGHS), and analyze the influence of two classes of vegetation density, edaphic factors and climatic factors on the diversity of soil arthropods found in vegetation density in the Core Zone of GHSNP. The method used in sampling soil arthropods was the pitfall trap and hand sorting method. Soil arthropods diversity data with environmental factors were analyzed using the Pearson Correlation test and Paired Sample t-Test. The research results found 17 different orders and 40 families dominated by the Formicidae (Hymenoptera) family in both vegetation density classes. The soil arthropods diversity index (H') in the two density classes was 1.25 and 1.45. The t-test results showed that there were no significant differences between the two vegetation density classes. Edaphic factors and climatic factors have a positive and negative correlation with soil arthropods diversity.
