Soil arthropods are a group of fauna that live in the soil and play an important role in soil formation, mineralization, and nutrient cycling within ecosystems. This study aims to identify the diversity of soil arthropods in the Core Zone of Mount Halimun Salak National Park (TNGHS) and to analyze the influence of vegetation density, edaphic factors, and climatic factors on their diversity. Soil arthropods were sampled using pitfall traps and hand-sorting methods. Diversity data, along with environmental factors, were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation test and paired sample t-test. The results identified 17 orders and 40 families, with Formicidae (Hymenoptera) dominating both vegetation density classes. The diversity index (H') was 1.25 and 1.45 for the two density classes. The t-test results indicated no significant differences between vegetation density classes. Edaphic and climatic factors showed both positive and negative correlations with soil arthropod diversity.
