Retraction and Withdrawal Policy

Business Review and Case Studies (BRCS) is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. Articles may be withdrawn before publication upon an official written request from the author with valid reasons. After publication, retraction may be considered if there is clear evidence of ethical misconduct such as plagiarism, data fabrication, major analytical errors, or copyright and ethical violations.

The decision to retract an article is made by the Editor-in-Chief in consultation with the Editorial Board and Ethics Committee following a transparent investigation. Retracted articles will remain accessible on the journal’s website and clearly marked with a “Retracted” watermark along with a Retraction Notice stating the reasons for the retraction. In cases where errors are minor and do not affect the overall conclusions, a Correction or Erratum will be published instead of a retraction.
