Right and Permissions
Copyright
Authors who publish with the AMJ Journal retain the copyright of their published work. The journal does not require authors to transfer copyright ownership. By submitting and publishing an article in AMJ, authors grant the journal the right of first publication and the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, archive, and promote the article in printed, electronic, and other scholarly formats.
Open Access License
All articles published in AMJ are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Under this license, readers and users are permitted to copy, distribute, transmit, display, adapt, and build upon the published work, including for academic, educational, research, and commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), the article title, journal name, and source of publication.
Author Rights
Authors are permitted to:
- Share the published version of their article on personal websites, institutional repositories, academic networking platforms, and other scholarly platforms.
- Use their article for teaching, research, thesis/dissertation supervision, academic presentations, and institutional reports.
- Reuse parts of their article in future publications, books, reports, or other academic works, provided that the original publication in AMJ is properly cited.
Reader and User Permissions
Readers, researchers, educators, institutions, and other users may use, share, reproduce, translate, adapt, or distribute articles published in AMJ, provided that:
- Proper attribution is given to the original author(s).
- The original article title, journal name, volume, issue, page number or article number, DOI, and license information are clearly stated.
- Any changes, adaptations, or translations are clearly indicated.
- The use does not misrepresent the original work or the authors’ findings.
No additional permission is required from the journal or the authors for reuse that complies with the CC BY 4.0 license.
Third-Party Material
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any third-party material included in their manuscript, including figures, tables, images, questionnaires, maps, datasets, or substantial text excerpts that are not owned by the authors or not covered by an open license.
Authors must ensure that all third-party material is properly acknowledged and that permission has been obtained before publication, where required.
Moral Rights and Attribution
The moral rights of authors, including the right to be properly identified and acknowledged as the creators of the work, remain with the authors. Any reuse of published articles must maintain proper attribution and must not damage the integrity of the work or the reputation of the authors.
Archiving, Repository Policy, and Legal Framework
Authors may deposit the submitted version, accepted manuscript, and published version of record in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, and other academic platforms without embargo, provided that the original publication in AMJ is properly cited. This Rights and Permissions policy is applied in accordance with international open-access publishing practices and is subject to the applicable copyright laws and regulations of the Republic of Indonesia, including Law No. 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright.
