Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process and are expected to meet academic standards. Manuscripts that have gone through the peer-review process will be returned to the Editor for acceptance or rejection, with the author’s identity kept confidential.

The eligibility of a manuscript for publication in the Journal of Social Science and Human Ecology (JSSHE) is assessed by peer reviewers and the JSSHE Editorial Board. All review processes are conducted through a double-blind review system, in which reviewers will not know the identity of the authors, and authors will not know the identity of the reviewers. The Editor-in-Chief handles all correspondence with the authors and makes the final decision on whether a manuscript is recommended for acceptance, rejection, or returned to the author for revision.
