Publication Fee
Journal of Tropical Silviculture (J-Siltrop) is an open-access scientific journal managed by the Department of Silviculture, Faculty of Forestry and Environment, IPB University. All accepted articles are published online and can be accessed freely by readers without subscription fees.
To support editorial management, peer-review administration, copyediting, layout preparation, DOI registration, online publication, and journal maintenance, authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) after their manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.
The APC policy is based on the Circular Letter of the Head of the Department of Silviculture, Faculty of Forestry and Environment, IPB University, Number 133/JTS.F5.4/PT.01.07/M/B/2023 dated 2 February 2023.

Additional Information
- APC is charged only for manuscripts that have been accepted for publication after completing the editorial and peer-review process.
- The APC covers articles with a maximum length of 10 printed pages.
- Manuscripts exceeding the page limit may be subject to additional publication charges.
- Payment instructions will be provided by the Editorial Office after the manuscript receives an acceptance decision.
- The APC is used exclusively to support journal publishing services and does not influence editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on their scientific merit and compliance with the journal's standards.
