Retraction and Withdrawal Policy

Retraction Policy

Jurnal Aplikasi Bisnis dan Manajemen (JABM) may retract a published article if there is clear evidence of serious violations of publication ethics or significant errors that compromise the reliability of the research. Reasons for retraction may include, but are not limited to:

  • Plagiarism or duplicate publication.
  • Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data.
  • Serious errors that invalidate the findings or conclusions.
  • Copyright infringement or unauthorized use of data or materials.
  • Peer-review manipulation or other unethical publication practices.
  • Failure to disclose significant conflicts of interest.

Retraction decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief in accordance with the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. A retraction notice stating the reason for retraction will be published and linked to the original article. The original article will remain available in the journal archive but will be clearly identified as Retracted to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

Withdrawal Policy

Authors may request the withdrawal of a manuscript before it is formally accepted or published, provided that the request is submitted in writing to the Editorial Office with a valid reason. Once a manuscript has been accepted for publication or published online, withdrawal is no longer permitted. Any necessary correction to the scholarly record will be handled through a Correction, Expression of Concern, or Retraction, as appropriate.
