Aim and Scope

Jurnal Aplikasi Bisnis dan Manajemen or Journal of Applied Business and Management (JABM) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the School of Business, IPB University (SB-IPB). JABM provides a platform for disseminating high-quality empirical research, literature reviews, and applied studies that contribute to the advancement of business and management theory and practice.

The journal aims to bridge academic research and managerial practice by publishing studies with clear practical implications for organizations, industries, policymakers, and society. JABM welcomes research employing quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, experimental, case study, and other rigorous research approaches that generate valuable insights into contemporary business and management issues.

JABM welcomes submissions from various organizational contexts, including private enterprises, public organizations, state-owned enterprises, cooperatives, family businesses, startups, social enterprises, and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The journal accepts studies conducted in Indonesia and other countries, particularly those offering practical contributions and managerial insights relevant to both developed and emerging economies.

JABM also welcomes research on digital technologies and innovations that contribute to business and management practices, including digital transformation, digital business, artificial intelligence applications, digital platforms, and data-driven decision making, provided that the primary contribution lies in advancing business and management knowledge rather than technological development itself.
