Pemanfaatan Metode Survei sebagai Strategi Evaluasi Kegiatan Asistensi Mengajar dalam Mendukung Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka

Abstract

The implementation of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) or Freedom Learn in 2022 was carried out in August for the odd semester of 2022-2023. Participants who took part in this program were 241 students of the MBKM ISS scheme and 2,318 students of the MBKM USK Unggul scheme, which is one of the innovations packaged by USK in increasing the participation of MBKM students. The MBKM implementation involved 116 ISS scheme partners and 486 USK Unggul scheme partners. In particular, the MBKM Teaching Assistance activities were attended by 1,252 students, so that the survey in this activity was carried out in stages by the University Team. The purpose of using the survey method as an evaluation strategy for this activity is to be able to ensure that Teaching Assistance activities in the field are running according to the 2020 USK MBKM guidelines. The survey method is carried out through direct observation of partners in teaching assistance activities, namely through interviews and distributing questionnaires to respondents using google forms. The activity evaluation strategy is carried out for all involved, namely students, field supervisors (DPL) and schools as partners. The results of using this method in general explain that teaching assistance activities have been running in an orderly, safe, and smooth manner without any significant obstacles. Students carry out tasks and activities in a structured manner accompanied by field supervisors and lecturers. However, there were still a number of minor cases that occurred in certain locations and could be handled immediately during the implementation of the activities. Minor cases that were not dominant and did not occur in all these locations were studied and corrected by all stakeholders including university leaders so that the current constraints in the implementation of teaching assistance activities became better improvement lessons for future activities.
