Sustainable management systems for natural resources, the environment, and settlements require various forms of evaluation to assist in the management decision-making process. In this issue, six articles presented contain various forms of evaluation, analysis, and regional management strategies, both in rural and urban areas. The first three articles are concerning about rural cases and the remaining three are about urban cases.
