Pengaruh Efikasi Diri Terhadap Perilaku Kewirausahaan Petani Muda Hortikultura di Sentra Agribisnis Provinsi Jawa Barat
Abstract
This study aims to analyze entrepreneurial behavior that is influenced by self-efficacy in young horticultural farmers in agribusiness centers in West Java. This research was conducted at the horticultural agribusiness center in West Java Province which includes three districts, namely Bandung Regency, Garut Regency and Cianjur Regency. The location selection takes into account the characteristics of the area, the activities and existence of young farmers in their business, the participation of agricultural stakeholders in developing entrepreneurship in agriculture in these areas and there is a network of young farmers that is starting to develop. The research design is quantitative, which is to determine the effect of self-efficacy on entrepreneurial behavior of young farmers. The young farmers who became the sample were 200 people, with certain criteria. The confidence of young farmers in their own ability to run a business has a significant influence on the development of entrepreneurial behavior. Efforts to develop young farmers must of course be made by all parties involved. All actors involved in the horticultural agricultural ecosystem must work together and collaborate to improve the ability of farmers in running their business, so as to encourage farmers to adopt entrepreneurial behavior in farming and it is hoped that their business can grow and develop better.
